Koren Specific Technique (KST) is a unique, breakthrough approach to spinal adjusting. With KST, there is no twisting, turning, "cracking" or "popping" of joints. Instead, you receive gentle, specific corrections to your spine and structural system. Most treatments are done either standing up or sitting. It is safe for people of all ages, including newborns, infants, the elderly and everyone in between. The basics of KST are the same as other chiropractic procedures: we will detect the misalignments in the nervous system, determine the best way to correct the subluxations and then perform the adjustment. Traditionally, the doctor would use his or her hands to perform the adjustment. In KST, an AthroStim instrument is used, delivering 12 rapid taps per second. The force of the taps is so gentle that infants remain undisturbed during the treatment. Although the treatment is gentle, the results are outstanding.
